Get In Line (Lyrics)

This forgotten song made its claim to fame during the 1994 Fall tour as a new song that the band played regularly with alternating lyrics. It was played last on New Year's Eve 1994 and never again made a return despite attempts by fans to remind Dave of the song. It was recorded in the "Crash" sessions, but didn't make the final cut (Steve Lillywhite, Oct. 1998).

Get on the Boat (Lyrics)

This appears to be an improvised song that Dave and Friends played and/or teased several times over the course of the Caribbean Cruise Getaway in February 2006. The setlist originally posted on dmband.com lists two separate songs, "Off the Boat" and "Get on the Boat," as being played; however, these two songs are identical save for Dave's singing "Gotta get off the boat" during one and "Gotta get on the boat" during the other. - dmbalmanac

This song is a Negro spiritual. Alternative titles are: "When I Laid [Lay] My Burden Down," and "I'm Gonna Lay My Burdens Down" (the latter is by Doc Watson). An earlier version was recorded by Odum & Johnson as well as other versions recorded by other artists.

Dave worked with this song for the "Because of Winn-Dixie" soundtrack, but it didn't end up on the final cut of the soundtrack.

This country-esque song was written during the "Lillywhite" studio sessions and was one of the later new songs to appear in the 2000 as the #1 most played encore song of the 2000 Summer Tour. Since then it has been played more and more and has evolved an extended jam outro.

In the Spring Tour of 2002, a new intro into PNP > Rapunzel was introduced on 4.26 known as the Gravedigger Intro. This intro developed into the powerful anecdotal song "Gravedigger" in the Summer Tour in 2002, as one of the main feature Dave Solo songs in the encore. - dmbalmanac

Interlude/Gas Into Fire (Lyrics)

This song originated as an interlude with lyrics played prior to 'What Would You Say' on 6.17.04. The riff was also teased several other times later on in the tour.

It was original mislabeled as "Cigarette Lit", before it was identified as a different song altogether. Eventually, it came to be identified as "Gas Into Fire", "Interlude", or "6/17/04 improv" by different sources in the fan community.

While this is really an unknown song, the current label "Interlude/Gas Into Fire" is used in order to differenciate it from other unknown songs / improvs that were also teased during the same tour.
