DBTP.org Media - Series 1 - Tim Reynolds Solo Compilation

Series 1 of our dbtp.org media compilations features one of the most dynamic artists in DMB's history, Tim Reynolds.

This compilation will feature various solo performances by Tim played during shows with Dave Matthews. Performaces span from 1993 thru 2007.

Tim Reynolds has been around since the beginning of Dave Matthews musical career. Dave Matthews was a bartender at a bar called "Millers" in Charlottesville, VA. Tim Reynolds who had his own band, TR3, played various shows in Charlottesville in the late 1980's including the Millers Bar where Dave worked. Tim had also played with Leroi Moore and Carter Beauford years before the Dave Matthews Band was formed.    

Tim Reynolds and Dave Matthews quickly became close friends. While Tim currently had his own band he recommended that Dave form his own band. Over the years Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds have played many acoustic shows together, which various performances you will hear in this compilation, was pulled from.

Tim Reynolds also has joined the band in the studio while they recorded their first three albums and has guested in various shows with the band through the years. Tim also joined Dave in the studio during his solo effort "Some Devil" and his short Dave & Friends tour during the winter of 2003-04.

Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds continue to work together and have two official released together. "Live at Luther College" released in 1999 and "Live At Radio City" performed in April 2007 and released to CD/DVD this past summer. Tim has also been featured on a few officially released DMB live shows as well, including "Live at Red Rocks" and "Live in Chicago"

Tim Reynolds has had a profound influence on Dave Matthews and the Dave Matthews Band, making Tim Reynolds a featured artist in the dbtp.org compilations.
